Children’s Ministries

A Bible based program for children 3 years old through 5th grade.

Because learning and faithfulness are intertwined, we will endeavor to teach the Word of God in such a way as to nurture faith and grow in discipleship at every age level, promoting life-long love and service for our Savior Jesus Christ.

To see children from preschool age through fifth grade, in a loving and safe atmosphere, joyously learning about God’s love and provision for them, applying these lessons to their daily lives, growing in friendships, and seeking to live and share these truths with those they come in contact with in their daily lives.

Romans 10:17 “Faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the Word of Christ.”  Proverbs 1:7 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.”  Exodus 4:12 “Now then go, and I even I, will be with your mouth, and teach you what you are to say.”  Exodus 18:20  “…teach them the statues and the laws, and make known to them the way in which they are to walk and the work they are to do.”  Deuteronomy 6:7 “You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.” Isaiah 28:10 “For He says, Order on order, order on order, line on line, line on line, and little here, a little there.  Indeed, He will speak to this people . . .”

Sunday Mornings, 9:30 am – graded classes based on a systematic study of the Bible with a variety of activities to reinforce the Bible Lesson and Life Application

Sunday Mornings, 10:30 am – children begin in the sanctuary with the opening song and greetings.  They are encouraged to say hello and interact with the congregation.  They are then led to their large group meeting room to kick-off their worship and introduction to the day’s lesson in an energetic and child appropriate environment.  Following Together Time, kids are divided into groups by age and enthusiastic and loving leaders guide them through a rotation of Bible Time; Game Time; Craft Time, Snack Time, finalizing in the large group room for Wrap-up skit and Closing.

Month of June, usually the third week – Nestled in the mountains of Big Bear, SaHaLe Lodge, in Big Bear Lake, CA, is a wonderful place for kids 2nd grade through 5th to spend a week (Monday through Friday) learning from the Bible, interacting with other kids, sharing chapel and worship times, playing games and going on outings, sharing at the Snack Shack and playground, seeing the marvels of God’s creation, and being accountable to their counselor and caretaker.  Scholarships are available.

First, Third, and Fifth Fridays during July and August – family-friendly activities are planned that bring families together in a safe, friendly, like-minded environment.  Activities are varied and usually free or of minimal cost.
