Announcements

Come and spend part of the Memorial Day Weekend with us as we visit the 60th Strawberry Festival in Garden Grove.  There are vendor booths, food booths, rides exhibits and music. Entrance is FREE! However, cash is required for food and vendor purchases.  Rides are $1/ticket, but some rides require several tickets! An all-day ride bracelet can be purchased for $35/person.  A couple of the car-pools will return to church at 2:00 pm.  Others will stay later.  Festival opens at 10:00 am and closes at 9:00 pm. For more details contact Heather at 714-926-7635 or wcachurchoffice@gmail.com, or Diane at 714-915-5705.

Thank you! Thank you!

It was great fun sharing lunch with you last Sunday!  We got to learn a little more about each other through the apron and kitchen stories and gained a greater appreciation for all the work that is done behind the scenes in a home kitchen to bless the family!  Thank you for all who stayed to help clean-up quickly so that our Vietnamese Congregation could set up for their service on time, too!

Prayer Concerns

Mary (Susie’s friend was at Mothers’N’Others on Sunday). Request for an unspoken need

Lorenzo. His brother passed away

Kit (Ken Weste’s son). …in hit & run, car accident last Sunday. Jaws of Life were used to extract him.  Praise God, didn’t need to go to hospital, but very bruised and in pain. Pray for the woman who hit him, as she didn’t even stop to check on him.  May God use this somehow for his honor and glory.

Royale (friend of Diane’s). ….fell last Saturday and in much pain.  She has been falling very often.  Pray for healing and doctor’s wisdom

B.J. (Tami’s son). Went through surgery well.  Mass over kidney removed; kidney does not seem affected. Mass was malignant, but they feel they extracted all of it. He is still in pain. Has appointment on Monday for further evaluation and determine if he needs further treatment.

Peter Haugo’s Landlord. landlady said he has left the home and is back on drugs.  Please pray for mental, spiritual, & physical healing.

Joseph Earl . Back in the hospital with another blood clot on the brain.  Doctors proceeded with the treatment they had discovered last year confident the clot would shrink, but after nearly three weeks, the clot has grown.  Pray for healing & wisdom.

Loretta Frias. Home after surgery to open up circulation in her leg.  She is doing better, but covets our continued prayers.

Murrieta Family (used to attend)…… …continue to pray for healing of the dad and guidance for daughter.
