I look at one of the essential doctrines of the Christian faith.
Zechariah received a vision from the Lord, a vision that showed the Joshua the high priest clothed in filthy garments presenting himself before God. But what is God trying to show Zechariah? Joshua clothed in his filthy garments is filled with guilt and shame while Satan is accusing him before God. But God does not allow Satan’s accusations to triumph, rather God clothes Joshua with clean garments.

This prayer is a picture of Jesus’ will for us after His resurrection and ascension. It is a picture of what He desires for us now.

How do we provide knowledge and insight so that our communities will see God’s love abound? It is not enough to care; we need knowledge and understanding to discern what is best.
